Goodye our friends. We are sad to see Elena and Lucia Eguiagaray head back to their hoemland, Spain, this weekend. The girls have been a part of GCW for the last two seasons and stalwarts for the Ladies 5s and more recently the Ladies 4s. One of the highlights that will stick iin all of our minds was Elena scoring the winner against an Aberdeen University side in their first season which made coaches Doug Sodin and Kevin Goodbrand very happy men.

We wish the girls and their family a happy return home and hope they do not forget us. Hopefully they will send us a picture of them playing hockey upon their return to Spain in their new club kit.  Adios nuestra Amigas
