GCW Youth Indoor Cup Weekend

This weekend sees the return of competitive indoor hockey for under 18s, sadly the adults will have to wait an extra 7 days before they take to the court.

First up is Saturday’s Under 18 North Indoor Girls Qualifier which takes place at the Beach Leisure centre from 12.30. Sadly there are only now two sides taking part GCW and Gordonians. The GCW side is captained by  Connie Hatfield.  It has transpired that both teams will now qualify to take part in next weekend’s Scottish Finals at the Bells Sports Centre in Perth. The GCW squad features some players who have been playing in the National League side so hopes are high.

Squad : Connie Hatfield (C), Ava Airnes, Alison Akiri (GK), Eleanor Barr, Kirsty Dewhirst, Jess Freeman, Isla Goodbrand, Heather Hunter, Eva Sheal, Becky Sinclair, Jane Somerset and Dani Dawson.
